Magnum Opus in the making

Currently Everwhere and I are in the process of recording our new 5-track EP. The road has been long, and there is yet the final stretch to go before we can enjoy an other quality production.

We started easily late last fall with gathering different ideas and selecting what to work further on. Quite early we had the foundation for 5 solid songs which we then refined and perfected over the spring.

This time around I even involved myself in the lyrical writing and am working on the the cover art for the new CD.

At this late, but still early, stage in production I feel more and more confident that we actually have a killer record in the making.

We still have four days in the studio before we hand it over to professional mixing & mastring.

If you are interested in the process you can follow our studio video diary on YouTube. Here is the first episode:

Oh, this sounds awesome and judging from your words it will be too ;)

Seems everyone has a blog nowadays...

...so why not me too? If I google the word blog I get 2,040,000,000 hits. Compare that number with the number of hits when you google the word narcissist (it is about 650,000). That is a lot of hits. Wonder how come?

So, what am I going to blog about? Just the same as everyone else: nothing at all but everything at the same time. Is that not the point of blogging? I have drawn that conclusion after seeing the fruits of other peoples meaningless blogging on the so called internet for years.

The phenomena nowadays called blogging is not really anything new, just that everyone seems to be doing it. People have been "blogging" on the web for nearly two decades, but over the past half a decade or so the blog space has exploded with new meaningless entries.

But wait a minute, is not all this that I am writing here a little contradictory? Oh, for sure! Why would not my ranting be just as meaningless as some 14 year old girls ranting about her messed up petty little life? It is.

Well, until next time, have a nice one!
